I believe you would already know, as of last week, 7 October, Yamapi and Ryo-chan, fellow members of NEWS who have worked with us until now, have left the group. This was a conclusion made after repeated meetings and discussions. To all listeners who have always been listening to K-chan NEWS, I am really, really sorry for having caused you so much worries. For the sake of all the fans who have been waiting for us, I did not want NEWS to just end. I want to protect the NEWS which we have built up together with all our fans with my life. To be honest, now I feel that I want to march forward further and further from now on, together with the fans, hand in hand. I really love NEWS. Also, from now on, we will work to the maximum of our capabilities, so please continue to support the newly-born 4-member NEWS, with me, Koyama Keiichiro, Kato Shigeaki, Masuda Takahisa and Tegoshi Yuya. I believe that it would be a very tough road from now on, but we have decided (to walk it). The 4 of us will fight hard together. Please take care of us.
And, K-chan NEWS will continue to be cheerfully aired weekly, having our members as guests.
